The eagle.

I am like the eagle,
That flies high.
Up above the clouds array,
I sometime stoop low to my roots for prey,
To quench my desire and many other evil,
Like I should be, always, like an eagle.

Oh God, my maker and guardian!
Give me strength and carry me on,
Horizon after horizon in your glory shall I fly on.
Let me keep flying high and not low for prey,
So that in front of nothing other than you, I pray
Shall I bow on my way.

The eagle is a fascinating bird.
Grace - class and sturdiness - all together.

Nice !

@Atreyi. Nothing to update yar, Just writing about human beings inherent weakness of stooping low down to do things that we know should be avoided. After all I am human too.

Ankitajee, I am glad you liked it. I also believe you also understood the poem in the correct way. Its funny how people interpret it in different ways.
